We have recently expanded our existing NATA scope of accreditation. We now have equivalent regional variations of our previous existing standards. This includes regional equivalents such as Canadian standards including CAN/CSA-CEI, ICES, IEC & CISPR equivalents. This means that we can prepare and issue accredited reports for multiple regional recognition.
Over the past few years, we have invested considerable investment in preparing detailed technical test procedures and acquiring new equipment. This has increased our capability to offer accredited radio certification testing from 9kHz up to 40GHz. This covers the majority of modern certification requirements for markets such as Australia, North America, Canada and Europe. Our recent scope extension through NATA has allowed EMC Bayswater to become a recognised accredited Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for North America and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) for Canada. Accredited recognition is required for all radio certification compliance testing (i.e. any wireless product) sold in these regions.
EMC Bayswater is now an ISED registered wireless testing lab (RSS-102 (RF exp.), RSS-102 (NS), RSS-GEN, RSS-210, RSS-247) for Canada. RS102 is now required for Canadian compliance and involves the assessment of emissions and immunity – Non-ionising radiation strength and hazard assessment, and yes we are accredited!
And an FCC registered testing lab for FCC Part 15B and FCC Part 15C for Intentional radiators described in FCC part 15, Subpart C using ANSI C63.4-2014 and ANSI C63.10 2013; KDB Guidelines: KDB 789033 D02, KDB 558074 D01, and KDB 905462 ;
EMC Bayswater is also now NATA accredited for ETSI EN 300 328 for products with a maximum RF output power of 10dBm. This covers most Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy products along with many Wi-Fi, Z wave and similar wide-band transmission systems; Data transmission equipment operating in the 2,4 GHz ISM band and using wide band modulation techniques.
Our new scope can be found on our EMC and Radio accredited testing & registrations page.
